The 2nd annual Good Samaritan Center 5k Run/Walk is Monday September 1st at 8:30 am. The event starts in front of the old C-K High School and takes place on the streets of Ceredo and Kenova. To print a registration form, go to www.c-klife.net. They are also available at the C-K Public Library and Ceredo and Kenova city halls.

The first Powder-Puff benefit Water Battle is Saturday, Sept. 6th at Raceland Park in Raceland, Ky. The cost is $20 per team and teams are made up 4 to 6 women. The registration deadline August 29th. For information, contact the Raceland Fire Department.
